In 1975, to free the people of Godhra from economic crisis, social activists came forward to establish a bank that would help the people of Godhra. Amongst these activits, the following are leaders of our bank:

Inception of the bank took place as a society on 20 June 1975 under Act 1961, section 9. With the progress of the society, within a very short period of time of 4 years, on November 07, 1979, it got converted to a Bank.
Since then, it said for the bank “જનતાની સેવામાં જનતા બેંક“
